If you are a work group or organization that needs a bonding experience or to work on a facet of your team, take a look at our team building programs. If you are a teacher/student or aspiring supervisor/manager, we can design a leadership development program to show you the value of “leading from the front” and “taking positive, calculated risks.”
We are located less than 20 minutes south of Hartford, Connecticut and 20 minutes north of New Haven, Connecticut at 2011 South Main St in Middletown, CT. We hope to see you soon!
The Region 4 school district program consisted of team building initiatives, the zip line canopy tour as well as the team building scavenger hunt. We had the zip lining as well as the scavenger hunt running simultaneously to allow people to choose between zipping or keeping their feet on the ground. Everyone did very well! After the adventures concluded, the Superintendent treated all the teachers to lunch. They brought the food, EMPOWER provided the grill and everyone sat under the pavilion, ate and shared stories about their experience at EMPOWER! It was a great morning for all who participated and I look forward to seeing them back next year!
The team from MetLife took on a bit of a different challenge in the afternoon. We put their team to the test with the “Zip/Hunt/Climb Challenge!” Three teams (blue, green and yellow…they wore bandanas just like Survivor!) competed on the zip line tour, the team building scavenger hunt and the tree climbs…all at the same time!!! In the end it was the blue team who finished first and came out on top with 215 points! Great job everyone on a job well done and congratulations to the blue team for overcoming the detour to win it all!
Days like yesterday are why EMPOWER was founded. We love hosting groups who believe in the power of camaraderie, building relationships, opening lines of communication, building trust and working together to achieve extraordinary results! We believe these types of programs make a difference in the office and will help these teams work better and more efficiently in the future. The best part is participants learn about one another and now have an established relationship to help them back in the office.
