GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
At EMPOWER, our facilitators lead teams of up to 30 participants in teambuilding initiatives to include the zip line canopy tour. In this role, our facilitators present a variety of activities including problem-solving exercises. Facilitators also lead debriefing sessions after the exercises intended to explore group dynamics and connect these experiences to real life situations at home, work or school. EMPOWER holds its team members to exceptionally high standards of professional performance. All facilitators must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to learn and apply technical lessons.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have a strong desire to advance the study of leadership and do so while working at great heights (up to 70’). Additionally, applicants must be safety oriented and must have the willingness and commitment to take responsibility for a participants’ safety at all times.
HIRING PROCESS
All new staff will be required to attend a non-paid training program regardless of previous experience. Once you have submitted your application either via email or US mail, we’ll contact you. If you have what we’re looking for, you’ll be invited for an interview, where you will have the chance to get to know EMPOWER and we’ll have a chance to get to know you. Once through the interview, if you are invited to training, be ready for a new, challenging experience that will take you to new heights! Through hands-on experiences, you will learn what it takes to be an EMPOWER facilitator. If during training, you or we decide that it’s not for you, you’ll still walk away having had an empowering experience!
