EMPOWER offers several unique adventures for friends, families, individuals and anyone looking for a fun, unique and safe adventure. These adventures consist of the zip line canopy tour, the canopy plus scavenger hunt adventure and the canopy plus tree climb adventure. Each of these adventures has varying levels of difficulty to ensure a fun and exciting time no matter what your experience and ability level. Since we opened in 2009, we have facilitated adventures for thousands of families, groups and couples from ages 6 to 86 and everyone in between!

EMPOWER has something for everyone! Whether its a weeknight adventure to break up the monotony or a weekend outing with friends, our adventure experiences are sure to motivate you to achieve more, empower you to take on new challenges and give you a fun and safe experience that you will remember forever!

PROGRAMS

CANOPY TOUR

Guests will be led on a 2 hour hour sky trail journey. Upon arrival you will meet your tour guides who will take care of all your needs from beginning to end. The program starts with an introduction to the zip line experience and a comprehensive safety class. Next is the harness and helmet fitting as well as the attachment of our tether systems. Once everyone is outfitted, the guides will lead you up on to the zip line canopy course where they will lead the way from start to finish traveling with you through your entire experience. The course consists of 5 zip lines, 2 sky bridges and 2 optional climbing elements: the multi-vine traverse and a cargo net obstacle! 1.5 to 2 hours is required. Photos are taken throughout the tour and are provided digitally following the tour.

CANOPY PLUS Scavenger Hunt

Your search group will work together to piece together clues, overcome obstacles and use compass navigation to locate hidden challenges! The key to successfully navigating our scavenger hunt courses is to work together, think creatively and keep an open mind! The CANOPY PLUS Scavenger Hunt courses span 20 acres of wooded terrain and will test your ability to think and work fast! With CANOPY PLUS Scavenger Hunt you get it all!

Take in the serene beauty of the EMPOWER campus
AND travel tree to tree on the Zip Line Canopy Tour

This is the perfect bonding experience for families, friends, co-workers, sports teams, birthday party groups or clubs of all kinds. This is also a great way for those who may be hesitant about the CANOPY TOUR experience to acquaint themselves with our facilities while sharing in the “ground” portion of the CANOPY PLUS Scavenger Hunt. This CANOPY PLUS program ranges from 3.5 to 4 hours.

CANOPY PLUS Tree Climb

This partner-assisted activity has you climbing to the forest canopy in one of our beautiful oak and hickory trees. As the climber, you will climb to the tree canopy while on belay. The belay is a safety line designed to prevent the climber from falling. It is the belayer’s responsibility to keep the rope out of the way of the climber and to secure the rope as the climber ascends. The climber will use branches and footholds to climb into the forest canopy and to the tree top.

The Old Oak: Navigate your way up and around the various limbs of The Old Oak. Different courses are plotted in the tree, allowing participants to choose their appropriate level of challenge.

The Swinger: Unveil your inner Tarzan. Climb up and swing between two Pignut Hickory trees on your way to the top of the forest canopy.

The CANOPY PLUS Tree Climb is an amazingly unique adventure unlike anything you’ve ever experienced! This CANOPY PLUS program lasts about 3.5 hours.

CANOPY PLUS Deluxe

This adventure combines the high flying action of the zip line CANOPY TOUR with the adrenaline pumping CANOPY PLUS Tree Climb activity along with the cerebral challenge of the CANOPY PLUS Scavenger Hunt. The zip lines will have you screaming like Tarzan from tree to tree, the tree climbing will have you climbing to the canopy of our biggest oak trees and the scavenger hunt will get you ready for the TV show SURVIVOR with its intellectual approach to adventure. With the CANOPY PLUS Deluxe you literally get it all! This magical day will inspire you and your friends, family members or co-workers to new levels of commitment, will empower your abilities to take on challenges and will give everyone an enduring sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. This program takes about 6 hours so plan to spend the day with us and we promise, you will be glad you did!

Group Outings

EMPOWER Group outings and Adventures are ideal for families, work groups, bachelor/bachelorette parties, reunions, birthdays, rehearsal dinner activities and any other type of group occasion. There is no better way to celebrate than zipping through the tree tops to make your event unforgettable. Group discounts are available when you book adventures for 10 or more people!

EMPOWER can provide a picnic area where your group can mingle after the tour. Bring your own food or let us grill for you!
